Written in Latin by William-James's Gravesande and translated into English by J.T. Desaguliers. Second edition printed for J. Senex, at the Globe in Salisbury-Court, and W. Taylor, at the Ship and Black-Swan in Pater-Noster-Row, 1721. Two volumes, printed on laid paper, nicely rebound. Includes many fold out diagrams and illustrations. Volume 1 has twenty nine plates and volume 2 has eighteen. Please note all plates are present but not always in the right order.
