Description
First quarter 19th century, cherry with pine secondary, Dovetailed crest with broken-arch pediment and folksy line and leaf carving, two eight-pane glass doors (one cracked and one with hole), two lower single-panel doors with folksy carving matching crest and simple cut-out feet. Carved inside lower left door, "Built 1814 Js. Donaldson Repd. 6/14/11" with carved tulip. Refinished, repairs to crest, edge wear and loss and crudely-added casters. 81.5"h. 46.25"w. 16"d.
Condition
Surface cleaned, putty fill shows at knots, later white paint remains inside. Some old, probably original, glass panes and some replaced. One glass pane cracked, another has a hole.
